Register for an online account

myAT&T, AT&T’s secure account management site, lets you make online payments, view usage, and update your AT&T U-verse TV, Internet, and Voice services at any time.

To manage your U-verse account online, create an AT&T Access ID and register your account online. Then link any other AT&T accounts, for example, Home Phone or Wireless accounts, to your AT&T Access ID.

What you need to register

As part of the registration process, we’ll ask you for some information to verify your account:

  • The Primary Member ID – This is the same as the email address (username@att.net) you received when you established your U-verse service.
  • Billing Account Number – Listed at the top of your bill.
  • The password for your account – This is the same one you use to log in to your AT&T email account.

Register and create an AT&T Access ID

  1. Go to the myAT&T login page and select Register today!
  2. Select U-verse TV, Internet, & Voice from the Account Type drop-down list.
  3. Enter your Billing Account Number or Email Address.
  4. Enter your billing ZIP code, then select Next.
    • If you choose to start the registration process using your Billing Account Number, you will now need to enter your Primary Member ID, which is your email address.
  5. Enter your U-verse password, then select Next.
  6. Complete the following:
    • Choose an AT&T Access ID – The Primary Member ID you enter will be your AT&T Access ID.
    • Choose a password – You will use this password to log in to myAT&T and manage your linked accounts.
    • Create a User Profile – This includes the email address we’ll use to secure your account and send important updates about your account – including login information should you lose access to your account.
    • Select two Security Questions with your answers – We’ll use these security questions to verify your identity should you need account login information, so provide answers you’ll remember.
  7. Select the checkbox beside, I agree to the AT&T Access ID Terms & Conditions, then select Next.
  8. Select Continue to create your AT&T Access ID and password.
  9. If you have additional AT&T accounts, select I want to manage additional AT&T accounts with the same User ID and password. Otherwise, select Please take me to the Account Overview page.
  10. Select Continue.

You can now manage all your accounts on myAT&T! To manage your account on the go, download the myAT&T app.

 

Sub account request to create an AT&T Access ID for myAT&T account management

  1. Go to the myAT&T login page and select Register today!
  2. Select U-verse TV, Internet, & Voice from the Account Type drop-down list.
  3. Enter your Billing Account Number or Sub Account email address.
  4. Enter your billing ZIP code, then select Next.
  5. If you started the registration process by entering the Billing Account Number, select the checkbox beside, No, I do not have a Member ID but wish to request access.
  6. Complete the following:
    • Choose an AT&T Access ID – The Primary Member ID you enter will be your AT&T Access ID.
    • Choose a password – You will use this password to log in to myAT&T and manage your linked accounts.
    • Create a User Profile – This includes the email address we’ll use to secure your account and send important updates about your account – including login information should you lose access to your account.
    • Select two Security Questions with your answers – We’ll use these security questions to verify your identity should you need account login information, so provide answers you’ll remember.
  7. Select the checkbox beside, I agree to the AT&T Access ID Terms & Conditions, then select Next.
  8. Select Continue.

You can now manage all your accounts on myAT&T! To manage your account on the go, download the myAT&T app.

Verify your Primary Member ID and Sub Account ID

To verify your account’s Primary Member ID:

  1. Log in to myAT&T.
  2. Select Internet, at the top of the page.
  3. In the Email Accounts section, locate the email address of the Primary type. This email address is the Primary Member ID.

To verify your account’s Sub Account IDs:

  1. Log in to myAT&T.
  2. Hover over Profile at the top of the page, then select Manage Sub Accounts.

A U-verse account has one Primary Member ID that:

  • Can create up to 10 active Sub Account IDs.
  • Have Primary and Sub Account Member IDs that are the same as U-verse Account IDs.
  • Include AT&T-associated email addresses (such as johnsmith@sbcglobal.net or mary.smith@att.net).
  • Include AT&T Yahoo! IDs. Your U-verse password is the same as your AT&T Yahoo! password.

Sub Account Members can:

  • Connect with Powered by Yahoo! features like U-verse Web Remote DVR and email.
  • Get product support and chat with an agent.
  • Manage AT&T U-verse Voice features, if the Primary Member has assigned them those permissions.

I am currently registered but want to convert my User ID to an AT&T Access ID

If you are already registered for a myAT&T online account and you registered before January 21, 2012, you can convert your User ID to an AT&T Access ID.

Convert your User ID to an AT&T Access ID

  1. Go to the myAT&T login page and select Register today!
  2. Select U-verse TV, Internet, & Voice from the Account Type drop-down list.
  3. Enter your Billing Account Number or Email Address.
  4. Enter your billing ZIP code then select Next.
  5. Select I’d like to convert my User ID to an AT&T Access ID then select Next.
  6. Enter your current email address and password, then select Next.
  7. Complete the following:
    • Choose an AT&T Access ID – The user ID you enter will be your AT&T Access ID.
    • Choose a password – You will use this password to log in to myAT&T and manage your linked accounts.
    • Create a User Profile – This includes the email address we’ll use to secure your account and send important updates about your account – including login information should you lose access to your account.
    • Select two Security Questions with your answers – We’ll use these security questions to verify your identity should you need account login information, so provide answers you’ll remember.
  8. Select the checkbox beside, I agree to the AT&T Access ID Terms & Conditions, then select Next.
  9. Select Next to create your AT&T Access ID and password.
  10. If you have additional AT&T accounts, select I want to manage additional AT&T accounts with the same User ID and password. Otherwise, select Please take me to the Account Overview page.
  11. Select Continue.

You can now manage all your accounts on myAT&T! To manage your account on the go, download the myAT&T app.

Recover or reset forgotten Primary Member ID

Follow the Forgot ID instructions to retrieve your Primary Member ID.
